This tip is easiest to accomplish for those of us shying away from the birth-to-bottle technique. With the frequency in which infants need to eat being on the high side, think of the calories you’re burning each time you nourish them! Hint: about 500-800 more a day. Remember that your nutrients are directly being transferred to another life form, so while you breastfeed you do need to increase your own intake. Hint 2: consume an additional 300-500 calories…Hint 3: I am not referring to a quadruple serving of Fritos.
