A study made by the Antioxidant Research Lab at the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows that consuming orange juice and unprocessed oatmeal will cleanse the arteries and prevent heart attack twice as much than ingesting the staple separately.

The organic compound called phenols, found in both foods can stabilize low-density lipoprotein also known as the ‘bad cholesterol’ when ingested together.
