4. Make friends.

Spend time with other women looking to lose weight. You may find it easier to connect with peers who have infants too, as they are experiencing what you are when you are. Maybe you can coordinate a time to squeeze in a walk together, or look to your local gym for classes geared for new moms (you’d be surprised!). Look to those post-baby friends whose figures you find yourself admiring, and simply ask how they did it. Chances are you’ll be more comfortable getting advice from someone you know on a personal level.
