4. Be Open Minded
Decide to take up running because it’s something you want to do for you. Don’t start to be trendy or “in the loop”; because as with most fads this initial motivation might not prove to last too long. To keep your relationship with running a positive, healthy, and more-than-a-one-time-thing event, it may help to make a list as to why you want to do it. Maybe it’s to lose a few pounds, to test your mental limits, or to see if you can actually become a runner- whatever the reason may be, assure yourself this decision is yours and yours alone.
