Turmeric + Honey Super Booster

Originally this was developed to support seasonal allergies, but it doubles as an awesome immunity-booster.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup local, raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar, I used Braggs.
  • pinch of ground black pepper {to activate the curcumin}

Directions:

  1. Mix your ground turmeric and black pepper with a spoon in a small mixing bowl or in a mortal and pestle to loosen all clumps and smooth out into a more fine powder.
  2. Then add in the honey, lemon zest and apple cider vinegar.
  3. Whisk or stir until smooth with a spoon.
  4. Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

How can I use it ?

  • As a hot tonic; mix 1 tablespoon with 12 – 16 ounces of warm water and sip
  • Spread a little love on top of toast!!
  • In a smoothie or green juice super-booster; mix in 1 tablespoon
  • Down the hatch, 1 large spoonful daily; plain + simple
