7. Lord of the Dance Pose

Morning Yoga

Begin by getting in the “Mountain Pose.” Stand feet together and arms straight down with your palms facing up. Keep your shoulders back. Shift your weight to your right and lift your left heel all the way, lifting your left foot up while bending the kneecap. Lift your right arm up and stretch it toward the sky.

Health Benefits:

This position helps improve concentration and balance. It stretches the hip flexors and leg and hip muscles while strengthening the shoulders and front and back body.
