3. Manage Stress
A little stress can be healthy just to keep you inspired and ‘eager’ for more out of your life. Most people in their 70’s and 80’s are still looking forward to more things in life. Some stress keeps you focused and motivated. However, too much of it causes mental and health problems, while not having enough stress can lead to a sense of meaninglessness and boredom.
It is important to cultivate determining the perfect balance of stress in your life to stay motivated but not feeling pressured and overwhelmed. Schedule a time with family and friends, do deep breathing exercises or practice meditation and yoga so you can ‘slow down’ and enjoy the moment.
