17. Water

The most available but often overlooked component of detoxifying. There are times when we are too lazy to reach for a glass of water and only drink when we start to feel thirsty.  Water is very important to stay hydrated for the organs to function properly and in flushing out toxins from the body. If you are not used to drinking the needed amount of water (8 glasses per day), add one cup at a time every week until you get used to it and has become a habit. Sudden change in the amount of water intake (from small to large amounts) is not good for the kidneys.
