Plyometrics
Plyometrics, also known as “jump training” or “plyos”, are exercises based around muscles exerting maximum force in a short amount of time. This routine tests the elasticity and flexibility of the muscles as well as power. It can push an individual to create the maximal force at a minimum strength.
Squat jumps, lateral jumps, power skipping, tuck jumps, box jumps are all types of plyometric exercises.
