Take a Stroll
According to a co-director of the University of Georgia’s Exercise Psychology Laboratory, Patrick O’Çonnor Ph.D., a 20-minute walk just after lunch will energize you without tiring you out. Exercise has shown to enhance the levels of dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine which are energizing brain chemicals. In a study conducted on 25 business travelers, the group who exercised while traveling performed 61% better on mental tests as compared to the sedentary group. He also noted that being a bit active can really help.
