Consume a Protein-Packed Breakfast
Eating a granola bar or toast is not enough. You need to eat a protein-packed meal in the morning so you’ll feel satisfied and full. Avoid triggering those all-carb meal wants, which will make you feel cranky and tired. According to Elizabeth Somer, a dietician, you can create and eat a hearty breakfast in just 5 minutes; this is the only time you have in the morning after being weary and have slept late.
However, protein does not necessarily mean eggs, sausages and bacons. Somer’s recommendations are the following: low-fat plain yogurt with berries, granola, and a handful of nuts; whole-grain toast with peanut butter and a banana; whole-grain cereal with low- or non-fat milk and fruit.
