8. Improve poor posture
In today’s age, many people sit at computers at work in positions that are detrimental to their posture and cause them to have weak backs and abdominals. A poor posture is due to an imbalance in your muscles. This means the muscle is too tight, or it could be too weak. Having weak abdominal muscles can cause you to slouch forward. Additionally, weak hip flexors and a lumbar spine result in poor posture. Lifting weights that target these areas can immensely help your posture.
